Gosia McCarroll
Piano, Violin and Theory Instructor
Malgorzata (Gosia) McCarroll received her Masters
Degree from Krakow
Academy of Music in Poland.
Beginning violin and piano studies at the age of 7, she
enrolled in music elementary school. During her 17 years of music
training, she performed with orchestras and choirs throughout Europe.
After graduation, she had
the opportunity to play with classical chamber groups in Europe, Japan and
the Caribbean. She was a participant at the renowned Bach Academy choral
workshop, which involved classes and performances with legendary conductor
Helmuth Rilling.
Performing in festivals, she was a member of the Wildwood Opera Festival
Orchestra in Little Rock Arkansas, Houston and Springfield, Texas. She has
taught theory and ear training at public schools and has been a violin and
piano instructor for years. She is also a member of Oshawa and
Peterborough Symphony Orchestras. She teaches classical and popular music,
while including Suzuki methods into her classes. She regularly prepares
students for Royal Conservatory Exams. Malgorzata is committed to
providing a supportive and
encouraging environment to each and every student.
Cam McCarroll
Guitar - All kinds and genres - Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Acoustic,
Electric
I am a graduate of the Banff centre for the Arts and Mohawk College music
performance program.
A freelance guitarist I perform regularly in Jazz, Brazilian, Rock and
World music
situations. I am a member of Sambacana, a Brazilian and World music group
lead
by renown drummer and percussionist Alan Heatherington. I have performed
and
toured with Juno award nominees Elizabeth Shepherd and International Jazz
pianist and vocalist Carol Welsman. Shared stages with great musicians
like Rich
Brown, Mike Malone, George Koller, Kirk Macdonald and Dave Young.
I have taught private guitar lessons extensively in the last 10 years, at
Long &
McQuade, Oakville Academy for the Arts and Greenwood College. I have been
guitar program director at Centauri Summer Arts Camp, as well, I am on
Faculty at
Mohawk College music performance program in Hamilton where I teach Jazz
performance to small groups and private students.
I am interested in all styles of music and bring a passion for music to my
students of
all ages and all levels, from beginner to advanced.
